About A/Prof Carlo Pulitano

Dr. Pulitano is an Upper Gastrointestinal, Hepatobiliary, and Transplant Surgeon in Sydney and holds clinical appointments at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and the Chris O’Brien Lifehouse.  He has broad clinical interests and expertise in liver, gallbladder, and pancreas surgery as well as hernia surgery and endoscopy.  He uses minimally invasive laparoscopic and robotic surgical approaches when possible.

 

Dr. Pulitano is a clinical academic and is an Associate Professor at the University of Sydney, the Director of RPA Transplantation Center for Organ Assessment, Repair, and Optimization (COARO), and the Director of Center for Advanced Research in Liver Pancreas and Biliary Surgery (CARLS).

In addition to English, Dr Pulitano speaks fluent Italian.
